Been thinking about ways to Market after Nikki asked me the dreaded question: Where do you see your project going?

Festivals? Just for fun?

Usually thinking about this question gives me a panic attack. Mainly, cause marketing and getting the word out there isn't really my forte.

I know that a festival run, isn't really what I want to do. I've done it before and I don't like it. I think reaching to the viewer directly is the better idea.

There are existing channels, listed below which feature films. If we can get the short accepted there, they might be able to put it out there within reach of their audience, which is quiet large.

But this brought me to a different idea, what if we start a channel like this for Vancouver produced short films. It's a daunting task for one person to pull in a large audience, but maybe if we build a community channel with different films produced locally here, collectively we'd be able to help each other reach a wider audience. There would be no obligation, not competition. They promote their movie and the channel. As people visit the channel they get exposed to other films there.
